Olbia is a city with a population of 58,066 located in northeastern Sardinia (Italy), in the sub-region of Gallura. Known as Olbia during the Roman era, it was called Civita in the Middle Ages and Terranova Pausania prior to the 1940s. The city reverted back to the name Olbia during the Fascist period. Olbia experiences a hot-summer Mediterranean climate with extremely mild winters, warm springs and autumns, and hot summers. You must not miss visiting Oschiri, a charming village of 4,000 residents.
